Congratulations to KMC girls wrestling, they are he first-ever 5A state girls champions! Courtney Nye is individual state champ and Bella Green and Gianna Redcorn finished in second place. Go Crusaders!

Congratulations to the boys swim team for finishing in second place at state! Henry Studnicka was state runner-up in the 200 free and 100 backstroke. All-State First Team honors goes to Studnicka, and Second Team honors goes to Robbie Richardson and Allen Turner. Congratulations to the 200 free relay team of Richardson, AJ McLain, Turner, and Studnicka for breaking the school record and a third place finish. Go Crusaders!


Congratulations to the girls wrestling team for winning the city league championship on Saturday. Individual champions are: Aalyra Arguelles, Olyvia Besco, Taylor Barringer, Courtney Nye, and Gianna Redcorn. Congratulations to the boys team for their third place finish and to individual champion Romiz Monaco.

Congratulations to the boys swim team for winning their fourth straight city league championship on Feb. 8. Individual champions are Henry Studnicka (in the 100 and 200 free), Allen Turner (in the 200 IM and 500 free), and the 200 and 400 free relay teams.


Congratulations to senior Corbin Johnson for reaching 1,000 career points during the game against South on Feb. 4.

Congratulations to our seniors who signed Dec. 4: Kylie Cartwright for softball at Cowley College, Peyton Gosch for baseball at Cowley College, Kate Kochenderfer for swim at the University of Nebraska Omaha, Lena Ramsey for softball at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, and Maddy Spiers for soccer at Fort Hays State University. The KMC Scholars Bowl teams are off to a great start this season! The varsity team placed second at the West Tournament (pictured here). At the Bishop Carroll Invitational, the JV team took first place and the novice team placed third.


Congratulations to junior McCoy Phister for reaching 1,000 career assists in volleyball during the state games!


Congratulations to the cross country team for their incredible season! The girls team finished as 5A State Runner-Up, while the boys came in third place. State medalists and all-state team are: Taylor Barringer in seventh, Ava Claassen-15th, and Courtney Nye-20th. Congratulations to the boys team for their third place finish. State medalists and all-state team are: Daniel Enriquez in 10th, Will Niederee-12th, Cole Reintjes-17th, and Andrew Guyer-19th.

Congratulations to the volleyball team for their fourth place finish in the 5A State Tournament! This was their first state appearance since 2012.

Congratulations to the girls golf team for winning the 5A State Championship for the fifth year in a row! Ximena Sarinana, third from right, is the back-to-back individual state champion.


Congratulations to the girls varsity tennis team for their second place finish at regionals. Clara Hocker placed fifth in singles, Julia Judkins placed sixth in singles, and Caroline and Chloe Hocker placed third in doubles. They will compete in the state competition beginning Oct. 18. Congratulations to the girls varsity golf team for winning another city league championship! Ximena Sarinana placed first, making her the back-to-back champion. Other top finishers were: Emma Nguyen tied for third, Maddy Cartwright-fifth, and Natalee Ruyan-sixth. The JV team also finished in first place in city league. Go Crusaders!

Congratulations to our 2024-25 National Merit Semifinalists: Aidan Ingalls, Isabella Richardson, Shae Ricke, and Benjamin Weber. They represent less than one percent of high school seniors in the state and will continue on in competition to be a National Merit Finalist, awarded in the spring. Go Crusaders!
