KMC Fans: we want to remind you of the policies and expectations for all of our Greater Wichita Athletic League (GWAL) football games in order to create the safest possible game day experience for all of our students and spectators.
Effective throughout the 2024-25 season:
NEW: Beginning this week, we will utilize metal detectors for all spectators, due to an incident involving a student from another high school during the first week of competition. Because of the anticipated longer enterty time, gates will open at 5:45 pm.
Only clear bags are allowed into the game, no exceptions. See the GWAL policy HERE.
NEW: Kidds Towing is the car removal partner of the Stryker Sports Complex. They will actively patrol the facility looking for offenders for the foreseeable future. Any vehicle not parked in an actual painted parking stall or parked illegally in a handicap stall will be towed away to the Kidds Towing holding facility. There will be no exceptions, and ignorance of the rules will not be entertained as an excuse. Parents, please inform you driving students so they are aware.
High school students from schools other than the competing teams will not be allowed entry to the game. All students must have their student ID for entry into the game. All students must have transportation at the conclusion of the game.
All middle and elementary school children must be accompanied by a responsible adult for entry into the games. Children may not be dropped off at the game unattended.
All middle and elementary school children must remain in the stands with their supervising adult. They do not have access to the west end, picnic tables, or statue area at Stryker. Vandalism has been attributed to the younger KMC fans and we are being held financially responsible. Please help us retain this venue by discussing with your children the importance of respecting the property.
No alcohol is allowed on the premises.
No outside food or drink.
No re-entry into games.
We know you join us in expecting our football games to be filled with competition, school spirit, and fun, while at the same time being as safe as possible for all involved. Thank you in advance for supporting these policies.
Sincerely,
John Heise, Athletic Director
Chris Bloomer, Principal
Rob Knapp, President
