Congratulations to these state wrestling tournament medalists: Joe O'Connor - 5th place, Tyler Dryden - 3rd place, Dylan Matheny - 2nd place and Jonathan Truman - state champion.
Congratulations to the forensics team for a 2nd place tie for sweepstakes at Goddard this weekend. Twenty-two schools competed. Finalists included Andrew Hild, Geoff Atkinson, Seamus Bann, Jared Ojile and Nick O'Donnell.
Congratulations to the following students who placed in the Goddard Powerlifting meet on Saturday: Will Hutton won his weight class with a squat of over 500 pounds and a bench press of over 300 pounds and Emily Cook placed 3rd in her weight class.
Congratulations to the boys and girls varsity bowling teams for competing in the regional tournament this past Saturday. The boys finished 6th out of 11 teams and a special congratulations goes out to Jacob Klitzke for finishing 3rd out of 65 bowlers. Jacob's 3rd place finish qualifies him to compete at state. The KMC varsity girls team finished in 2nd place out of 11 teams and qualified for the state competition as well. The team participants are Katie Norman, Lauren Baker, Stephanie Kwasniak, Kaitlyn Klitzke, Alison Huffman and Jenna Munoz. Katie Norman and Lauren Baker finished 7th and 8th out of 62 bowlers. A special thank you goes out to those who came out to support the bowling teams. State competition begins Thursday at 2pm for the boys and Friday at 2pm for the girls at North Rock Bowling Alley. Good luck to the bowlers!

The following students qualified for state: Kelly Connelly - 2nd place in oratory and Andrew Hild - 2nd in impromptu and finalist in prose. A big congratulations to the boys swim team for the 2nd place finish in the state swimming meet in Topeka! Ryan Zwick was named to First Team All-State. Way to swim Crusaders!
Congratulation to the wrestling team for their great showing at regionals. The following wrestlers qualified for state: Jonathan Truman - 1st, Dylan Matheny - 1st, Lukas Maki - 2nd, Joe O'Connor - 2nd, Tyler Dryden - 3rd, James Hogan - 3rd and Tim Wescott - 4th.
Congratulations to both the boys and girls varsity bowling teams for competing in the city league bowling tournament on Saturday. The boys finished 8th in the tournament and 7th overall in the city league. Tyler Laudick finished in 11th place for individual boys. The girls finished 4th in the tournament and 5th overall in the city league. Katie Norman finished in 5th place for individual girls. Great job to all the bowlers and a special thank you to all who came out to support the bowlers. Both teams will be competing in Regional play this Saturday beginning at 2pm at Seneca Bowling Alley.
