Letter of Intent Signees

Wichita, Kansas

Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School Athletic Director John Heise announced that senior JoJo Palko has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Division II Rockhurst University next year and to play soccer for the school.

JoJo has played soccer for the Crusaders for four years, and has played for the varsity squad each year.  A forward, Palko is currently the team’s leader scorer.  In addition, she currently leads the Greater Wichita Athletic League in scoring.

In 2007, JoJo was named Second Team All-City, First Team All-Region, and Second Team All-State.  She led the Crusaders to the state tournament the last three years, finishing third in Class 5A state in 2007.

JoJo is the daughter of Dr. William and Maria Palko.  The Palko family belongs to St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Wichita.

JoJo plans to major in Sports Science at Rockhurst University.
