Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School Athletic Director John Heise announced that senior Dominik King has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Division II Emporia State University next year and to play baseball for the school.
Dominik has played baseball for the Crusaders for four years, and lettered for the varsity squad his final three years. Dominik is both a shortstop and a pitcher.
In 2008, King was named First Team All-City at third base and Second Team All-State as a pitcher.
Dominik is the son of Monika and Stephen King. The King family belongs to Blessed Sacrament Parish.
Dominik plans to major in Accounting at Emporia State University.
