Letter of Intent Signees

Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School Athletic Director John Heise announced today that KMC Senior Kelly Gebert will sign a National Letter of Intent to attend and play tennis at Division III DePaaw University in Greencastle, Indiana next fall. The signing ceremony will take place in the KMC Round, just off the main entrance on Thursday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m.
Kelly is a 4-year varsity letter starter for KMC, and placed in her event at the Kansas State 5A Tennis Tournament each of the last three years. Her sophomore year, Kelly placed 5th in state singles; her junior year she was first in doubles at state; her senior year she finished 3rd in state singles.
Kelly is a KMC Cum Laude student, with a 3.8 GPA. She plans to major in business at DePaaw. She and her parents, Steve and Lisa Gebert, are members of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish.
