Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School Athletic Director John Heise announced today that KMC senior Keenan Matthies has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas next year and play football for the school.
Keenan has played football all four years at KMC, as a cornerback. He played on the varsity squad his junior and senior years. He was named second team All-City cornerback his senior year.
Keenan is the son of Ken and Susan Matthies of Magdalen parish. He has not yet decided on his academic major.
Keenan and his parents, Susan and Ken Matthies Mom and Dad watch as Keenan puts his pen to the letter.
