Letter of Intent Signees

Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School Athletic Director John Heise announced today that KMC Senior Colin Hagan will sign a National Letter of Intent to attend and run track and cross country at Division I Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa next fall.  The signing ceremony will take place in the KMC Round, just off the main entrance on Thursday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m.

Colin is a 4-year varsity letter starter for KMC in both cross country and track, and specializes as a mid-distance runner.  His cross country honors include being named All-State his junior and senior years, finishing 7th his junior year and 3rd his senior season at state competition.

Colin’s track honors include All-State recognition in each of his first three years.  As a member of the 4 x 8 relay team he finished 3rd as a freshman, 7th as a sophomore and 4th as a junior.

Colin maintains a 3.7 GPA at KMC and is a Cum Laude student.  He and his parents, Dr. Stephen and Patricia Hagan, are members of Blessed Sacrament Parish.  He plans to major in Economics at Drake University.
