The Mount Carmel Academy Class of 1956 held their 50-year reunion over the weekend of April 28-30. Their weekend of fellowship included a visit to the KMC campus on Saturday. Following a campus tour and Holy Mass, the ladies met in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel conference room for a video presentation on the history of Mount Carmel Academy and Chaplain Kapaun Memorial and Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High Schools. All members of the class also received memory books depicting the original Mount Carmel Academy and highlighting the members of their class. Alums came from as far as Ontario and San Diego for the weekend of festivities, and none left disappointed.
